As a rule of thumb, around 8 to 10 square metres per kW for modern high-efficiency modules, depending on tilt and layout. We confirm this during the roof survey.
A bi-directional meter records both import and export. Surplus solar exported to the grid is credited against consumption according to the applicable state policy.
